The Doers

Privacy Policy

What we collect

Information you give us: your name, email address and message when you use the contact form, apply to become a Doer, subscribe to the newsletter, create an account or leave a comment.

Questions you type into Ask Doers, so we can answer them and improve the answers.

How you use the site: pages viewed, links clicked, searches, how far you scroll, whether a video is played on the site, and your approximate location, browser and device. This comes from cookies and similar technologies.

Analytics and session recordings

We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to count visits and understand which content is useful.

We use Microsoft Clarity to see where visitors click, scroll and move on a page, including anonymised session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity masks what you type into form fields. Clarity is operated by Microsoft under its own privacy statement.

These tools set cookies on your device. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install a browser extension that blocks analytics; the site keeps working either way.

How we use it

To run the site and respond to you, to send the newsletter if you asked for it, to keep the site secure, and to improve the content and design.

We do not sell your personal information.

Video

Episode videos are played through YouTube's embedded player (youtube-nocookie.com). Once you press play, YouTube may collect data about your viewing under Google's privacy policy.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
